gold-filled jewelry is made for you to wear everyday and everywhere. solid gold jewelry is softer, and can bend easily. gold-filled contains a mixture of metals, with a larger percentage of gold than gold vermeil (or gold plated). this makes it capable of holding its shape, shine, and color.
